Dear Rhodes 19 2007 ECC race participants,

NBYC greatly looks forward to hosting the Rhodes 19 East Coast Championships!  Over a dozen veteran volunteer committee members are eagerly planning to but together a regatta with great racing and fun.  NBYC has a history of putting on fantastic regattas.  Our experienced race management, wonderful facilities and Buzzards Bay 's strong summer afternoon sou'westerlies help to make racers very happy.  NBYC is host to the venerable 400 boat Buzzards Bay Regatta every other year, and dozens of smaller club races every summer.  NBYC was also the host of the Etchells North Americans in 2006 and the Bemis-Smythe US double-handed and single-handed Junior Championship in 2004. 

Our committee assures the Rhodes 19 class of top notch racing and a fun time.  We plan for beverages and snacks after racing each day, live music after racing Saturday, a raffle of some nice nautical items - and a nice dinner under our front lawn tent Saturday night.  Please read the NOR and send in the entry form asap. The $175 fee will include launch/haul, refreshments and snacks after racing, 3 Saturday dinner tickets and one free event T-shirt.  Additional dinner tickets, T-shirts and box lunches are available for reasonable fees.  There is a $40 late fee after May 18.  Let’s hope for fair weather and winds.
